Kathryn Hardin Flippo

Kathryn Hardin Flippo died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008. Graveside services were held Thursday, Dec. 11, with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Tenn. She was born in Hardin County, daughter of the late Dick Hardin Jr. and Viola Smith Hardin. She attended Frank Hughes School in Clifton, retired fromQuaker Oat Co., and attended West Jackson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Flippo, and two sisters, Frances Hardin and Maxine Handley. Survivors include her son, Ken (Kay) Flippo of Milan and one grandson, Bryant; one sister, Sue Nell Pinson; two brothers, James E. Hardin and Billy Dan Hames.
