Jessie Davis

Jessie Pauline Davis, 82, of Dyer, Tenn., formerly of Hardin County, died Monday, Feb. 9. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Mamie Copeland. She was united in marriage to Joe H. Davis, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Davis was a retired cosmetologist, and a member of First Baptist Church, Dyer, Tenn. Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Chapel of Karnes and Son, Dyer, Tenn. with Mark Kirkpatrick officiating. She is survived by a daughter, Janice Dodd of Dyer, Tenn.; two sons, Jim of Dyer and Jerry Davis of Ramer, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Floyd and Harbet Gene Copeland, both of Savannah. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Faye Rose; and two brothers, Douglas Albert and Kenneth Loyd Copeland.
