J.W. Durham Jr. (3-10-09) services 3-13-09

Johnie "J.W." Durham Jr., 81, of Savannah, died Tuesday, March 10, in Savannah. He was was born in Hardin County, son of the late Johnie and Eva Hughes Durham. He was united in marriage to the former Kathleen Arnold. Mr. Durham was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. He was a self employed painter. Services were held on Friday, March 13, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Benny Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens, Savannah. In addition to his wife Kathleen of Savannah, he is survived by one daughter Kathy Bain of Savannah; two grandchildren, one great grandchild; two sisters: Janis Ganus of Adamsville and Virginia Jones of Los Angles, Calif.; two brothers, Charles Durham of Adamsville and Calvin Durham of Los Angles, Calif. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Smith and Marie Mulder.
