Elizabeth Rouse

Elizabeth Carol Moore Rouse, 85, of Collinwood, died Thursday, Feb. 19, at her daughter's home in Collinwood. She was born in Byrn, W.Va., the daughter of the late James Elison and Charlotte Alice White Moore. She was united in marriage to the Rev. Frank James Rouse Sr.,who preceded her in death. Mrs. Rouse was a retired teacher/guidance counselor and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Sonny Bogus officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery at Pulaski, Tenn. She is survived by a son, Elison Rouse of Iron City, Tenn.; two daughters, Carol Rodgers of Nashville and Suzanne Roberts of Collinwood; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Frank James Rouse Jr.
