Dorothy Randall (3-31-09) services 4-3-09

Dorothy Bland Randall, 80, of Adamsville, died Tuesday, March 31, at McNairy County Health Care Center, Selmer. She was the daughter of the late George and Odie Mitchell Bland. Ms. Randall was a retired nurse. She was employed 18 years at Hardin County Health Department in Savannah. She was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah. Services were held Friday, April 3, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with David Baker officiating. Burial was in Maggie Jones Cemeter, Finger, Tenn. Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Townsend and husband Hugh of Bethel Springs, Tenn.; one son, Byron Randall and wife Shirley of Crane, Mo.; one sister, Geraldine Karnes of Kentucky; one brother, Perry Bland of Nashville; grandchildren, Phillip Randall, Christa Dohmen, Misty Austin, Kelly Austin and wife Bridgette; great-grandchildren, Brinna and Olivia. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Perry; and a brother, Alton Perry.
