Danny Young (3-23-09) services 3-29-09

Danny "Stick" Young, 52, of Hardin County, died Monday, March 23. He was born in Hardin County, son of Juanita Crotts Young and the late L. V. Young. He was employed by Rose Sawmill and was a Navy Veteran. Services were held on Sunday, March 29, at Old Town Full Gospel Church in Savannah with Larry Paul Rich officiating. Burial was in the Campground Cemetery at Hardin County. He is survived by a son, Phillip Christopher Young; his mother, Juanita Young of Savannah; five sisters, Marilyn Hill, Shirley Abels, Wanda Carolyn Holcombe, Neva Ireland, and Charlotte Nance all of Savannah; five brothers, Wallace Guymon Young of Memphis, Rabon “BB”, Billy David, Douglas Dewayne, and Joel Bruce Young, all of Savannah. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alton Young.
