Cobb Durbin

James "Cobb" Durbin, 65, of Savannah, died Tuesday, March 10. He was born in Wayne County, son of the late Clemon C. and Elsie Mae Franks Durbin. Mr. Durbin worked for the sawmill as a loader operator. He is survived by a son, Travis Durbin of Olive Hill; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Durbin Mullins of Savannah; three brothers, Frank, Donnie and Ronnie Durbin, all of Savannah; three sisters, Jimmie Gail Pickens of New Hope, Tenn., Carolyn Curtis and Nancy Weaver both of Savannah; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by a son, Ricky Earl Durbin; a sister, Reba Vance; a grandson. Services will be today, Thursday, March 12, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery.
