Anita Wood

Anita L. Wood, 28, of Adamsville, died Monday, March 9, in Jackson, Tenn. She was born in Massillon, Ohio. She was a childcare provider for Lil Britches Learning Center in Savannah. Services will be held on Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah. She is survived by her mother, Connie Sue Orr Wood of Counce; three sisters, Jessica and Lisa Wood, both of Adamsville and Becky Wood of Counce; one brother, Mark Wood of Cookeville, Tenn.; two step-sisters, Sarah Foster of Lutts and Rachel Souter of Bluffton, Ind.; a half-sister, Amber Meyers of Charleston, W.Va.; grandmother, Nell Teaford Wood and grandparents, James and Florence Orr; one nephew and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mason Todd Wood.
