Floyd Wayne Blackwood, 73, of Rogersville, Ala., formerly of Hardin County, died Saturday, Dec. 26.

He was born in Crump, the son of the late Paul Edward and Pauline Audrey Mills Blackwood.

Mr. Blackwood was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church of Lauderdale County, Ala., and had worked for Reynold’s Alloy before retiring.

A graveside service will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Crump Cemetery in Crump, with Tommy Heaps officiating.

He is survived by a brother, Lloyd Blackwood of Rogersville, Ala.; several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Paula Blackwood.
