Man charged with unlawful photography in church
A man accused of video recording under the skirts of women he went to church with has waived a preliminary hearing. Charges of unlawful photography against Richard Glenn Rushton will now go directly to a Madison County grand jury. The Jackson Sun reported the prosecutor told the judge on Thursday that, although Rushton is now charged after complaints by two women, the final number of complainants will likely be between 40 and 50.
Jackson City Court Judge Blake Anderson denied a motion to reduce Rushton’s bond from $50,000 to $10,000, citing the likely number of complaints.
Rushton is a registered sex offender in Tennessee because of a Florida conviction in the mid-1990s.
