Robbed woman just wants her snake back
A Memphis woman whose home was burglarized says all she wants is the return her 3-foot ball python.Leonia Sanders left her home briefly on Feb. 9 and returned to find someone had kicked in her door, stolen a computer monitor, a gaming system and her snake. However, the thief did not take Sanders’ other snake, a 60-pound, 8 -1/2-foot Colombian boa constrictor.
Sanders bought the snake two years ago to confront her fear of snakes. Now it’s like a member of the family, she said.
Sanders said she’s worried that the thief doesn’t know how to feed her snake, which is named “Heather.’’
