Civil War film to be shown at Nashville landmark
Ken Burns’ film “The Civil War’’ is about to be shown for free at a Civil War landmark in Nashville.The film will be shown in segments on the last Saturday of each month through May 29 beginning this Saturday at the Fort Negley visitor’s center. This Saturday’s segment is “The Cause.’’
In 1862 Fort Negley was the largest fortification built by the occupying Union forces. It was restored and reopened in 2004 as a tourist attraction.
