Tennessee sailor killed in Afghanistan

A sailor from Tennessee has been killed while on active duty in Afghanistan.
The U.S. Department of Defense said 25-year-old Xin Qi of Cordova died Saturday. The Defense Department says Qi, a Petty Officer 2nd Class who was assigned to the Fourth Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Marine Expeditionary Brigade—Afghanistan was killed while supporting combat operations.
