Lady Tigers pick up win over Liberty

The Hardin County High School softball team picked up a win against Liberty in their lone game last week. The Lady Tigers defeated Liberty by a score of 10-0.

Kara Boyd picked up the win for Hardin County by pitching a complete game two-hitter. Boyd struck out 12 and didn’t walk a batter in six innings pitched.

Katie McGee was the leading hitter for the Lady Tigers. McGee finished the game 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI. Sheridan Rathai also picked up two hits. Jackie McGee scored two runs. Katie Terry, Tabitha Newcomb, Kelsey McAfee, Rathai, Allie Boyd, and Kara Boyd each had a RBI in the game.
