Adamsville splits games with Corinth
The Adamsville High School basketball teams traveled to Corinth on Saturday for a pair of games against Corinth High School. The Lady Cardinals picked up a 56-37 win against Corinth. The Cardinals lost their game by a score of 92-59. The Lady Cardinals improved to 7-9 on the season. The Cardinals are now 11-6 overall.Lady Cardinals 56, Corinth 37
Adamsville used a 25-5 third quarter margin to pick up the win against Corinth on Saturday night. Adamsville held an 11-9 lead after the first quarter, but trailed 24-21 at halftime. The Lady Cardinals led 46-29 after three quarters after their big third quarter.
Brianne Knight was the leading scorer for Adamsville with 23 points. Knight also pulled down nine rebounds. Nikki White also scored in double figures with 12 points. Corrie Hill added five points for Adamsville.

Corinth outscored Adamsville 30-7 in the final quarter to open up a big lead in Saturday night’s game.
The Warriors of Corinth held a 10-point lead at 62-52 after three quarters, but the game was put out of reach in the final quarter. Corinth held a 19-17 lead after the first quarter and led 40-27 at halftime.
Josh Shoate was the top scorer for Adamsville with 14 points. Jake Martin was second in scoring with 12 points. Jalen Kendall also finished in double figures in scoring with 10 points. Will Erwin chipped in with nine points.
