Lady Tigers remain undefeated on the season
The Hardin County Lady Tiger basketball team picked up two more victories last week on the hardwood to improve their record to 6-0 on the season. The Lady Tigers picked up wins against McNairy Central and Brighton. The Tigers lost both of their games to drop to 0-6 on the year.Lady Tigers 68, McNairy Central 55
Hardin County outscored McNairy Central 18-6 in the final quarter to pick up the 13-point victory last Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers trailed in the game by a score of 37-30 at halftime before taking a 50-49 lead after three quarters. Hannah Robinson was the leading scorer for the Lady Tigers with 19 points. Tonisha Combs was second in scoring with 17 points. Courtney VanFleet and Keagan Handley each finished the game with 11 points.

Lady Tigers 49, Brighton 44
Hardin County again used a big fourth quarter surge to pick up a victory in their game against Brighton. The Lady Tigers outscored Brighton 18-8 in the final quarter to pick up the five-point win.
Hardin County held a 15-12 lead after the first quarter and led the game 27-22 at halftime. However, Brighton outscored Hardin County 14-4 in the third quarter to lead the game 36-31 going into the final quarter of play.
Hannah Robinson was the game’s top scorer with 27 points. Robinson connected on four 3-pointers in the game. Keagan Handley, Tonisha Combs, and Katie Terry each scored seven points for Hardin County.

McNairy Central 71, Tigers 57
McNairy Central led the game 15-9 after the first quarter and held a 33-23 advantage at halftime. The Bobcats maintained their double digit lead in the third quarter and held a 44-34 lead going into the final quarter. McNairy Central outscored Hardin County 27-23 in the final quarter.
Hunter Petty was the top scorer for Hardin County in the game with 36 points. Dennis McGarity was second in scoring with 6 points. Coty Eanes had five points, and Alex Carnal chipped in with four points.

Brighton 107, Tigers 32
Brighton jumped in front in the opening quarter by a score of 24-12. The Cardinals outscored Hardin County 41-7 in the second quarter to take a 65-19 lead. Brighton led the game 97-32 after three quarters. Jonathan Roach led the Tigers in scoring with 10 points. Coty Eanes was second in scoring with nine points.
