Bowling teams get season underway

The Hardin County bowling teams started their season recently with expectations for another solid year. Each of the bowling teams has experienced success over the last few years with numerous state tournament appearances.

The Lady Tigers have reached the state tournament in each of the nine years Hardin County High School has had a team. They won the state championship in 2009 and 2007. They also had second-place finishes in 2010, 2008, and 2003.

The Tigers have reached the state tournament in eight of their nine years of competition. Their best finish was second place in 2007.
