Hardin County golfers compete at state tourney

The Hardin County High School golf teams had three players compete at last week’s state tournament at Manchester. Senior Hali Smith, sophomore Sarah Holland, and freshman Ben Carroll each competed at the event.

Carroll shot a 149 at the two-day event for the Tigers. He was the top freshman golfer at the event. Carroll finished 17th overall at the state tournament.

Smith shot a 178 and Holland finished with a score of 208. Smith was 39th overall at the state tournament. Holland was one of only 11 sophomore girls that competed at the event.
