Volleyball team picks up wins

The Hardin County volleyball team picked up a pair of victories against Camden Christian Academy and Middleton last week. The Lady Tigers won both games in five sets. The Lady Tigers improved their record to 6-7 on the season. They are scheduled to play at North Side today (Thursday).

Lady Tigers def. Camden Christian (25-27, 25-19, 25-20, 23-25, and 15-11)

Mallory Mathis led the team with 10 kills in the match. Haley Scott had 10 assists, and Kelsey White had nine assists for Hardin County. Emily Gray had five blocks. Brittany Simmons recorded five aces. Katie McGee had four kills and three blocks. Kaitlin Snyder added four kills in the match.

Lady Tigers def. Middleton  (22-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-12, 15-11)

Katie McGee had a good night serving with 13 aces. Kaitlin Snyder had 10 aces and five kills in the match. Mallory Mathis added five kills. Haley Scott picked up seven assists, and Kelsey White contributed with five assists.
