Lady Tigers split matches

Hardin County had two volleyball matches last week. They picked up a victory against North Side and lost their match against McNairy Central.

The Lady Tigers have a home match scheduled today (Thursday) against Middleton. They also have a home match scheduled for Monday against Lexington. The varsity is scheduled to start at 6 pm in both matches.

Hardin County defeated North Side (20-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-6)

After falling behind in the first two games, Hardin County rallied to win three straight to pick up a win against Jackson North Side. Katie McGee led Hardin County in the match with eight aces, six kills, and six blocks. Kaitlin Snyder had eight aces and six kills. Kelsey White did a good job setting up her teammates with 15 assists. Mallory Mathis had five aces and three kills, and Brittany Simmons chipped in with three aces and four kills.

McNairy Central defeated Hardin County (24-26, 25-12, 25-15, and 25-15)

Kaitlin Snyder had a good night for the Lady Tigers with six aces. Mallory Mathis also added three aces for Hardin County.
