Hardin County cross country teams get underway

The Hardin County cross country teams have gotten off to a fast start in their first few weeks of the season. The HCHS teams competed in the Brooks Invitational on August 28 and are next scheduled to compete at Crockett County on September 7.

The Tigers have two seniors on this year’s team in Tyler Sharp and Cameron Gant. Alex Roth is the only junior on the team. They have three sophomores in John Guyer, Alex Godwin, and Joey Tyson. Freshmen Caleb Angotti and Jack Carroll Hulen are also on this year’s team.

Brianna Phillips is the lone senior on the team for the Lady Tigers. Hardin County has two sophomores in Allie Boyd and Kayla Swanson. The freshmen group on this year’s team include Audri Jerrolds, Rachel Swanson, Dorothy Roth, Rachel Smith, and Julia Ewoldt.
