Hardin County and Adamsville split matches on the links
Hardin County and Adamsville split their golf match last week at Shiloh Golf Course. Adamsville picked up the win in the boys’ match while the Lady Tigers won the girls’ match. In other golf action, Hardin County picked up two wins against Scotts Hill. The Tigers won by a score of 151-188 and the Lady Tigers won by a score of 92-128.Cardinals 148, Tigers 151, Chester County 170
Adamsville was led on the day by Andrew Aristorenas, who was medalist for the match with 34. Kirby Nixon shot 35 in the match, and Hunter McSwain had 37. Hunter Pyron and Jacob Wallis each shot 42. Hardin County’s top golfer was Tyler Austin with a score of 35. Rodney Lewis was second with a 38. Ben Carroll and Grant Johnson each shot a 39 on the day. Chase Tarrant followed with a 42 for the Tigers.
Lady Tigers 94, Adamsville 109
Hardin County’s Hali Smith was the top golfer for Hardin County in the match with a score of 44. Sarah Holland was second with a score of 50. Lady Cardinal Abby Dickey shot 51 in the match, and Taylor Hutton scored 58.
Tigers 151, Scotts Hill 188
Rodney Lewis was the medalist for the Tigers with a score of 36 in the match. Tyler Austin was second with a score of 37. Ben Carroll had a 38 and Grant Johnson shot a 40. Chase Tarrant was fifth with a score of 43.
