Hardin County Seniors compete in AAU Nationals in Orlando

While others were swimming and having fun this summer two Lady Tigers stuck to the hardwood. Hannah Robinson and Keagan Handley were invited to play AAU basketball with a team out of Mississippi. They had the experience of playing at Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Northeast Mississippi Community College. They also won many tournaments including the state tournament which qualified them for Nationals.

They participated in Nationals July 9th-July 15th which were held in Orlando, Florida at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. There were over one hundred teams in their age group and about 47 in division 1 in which they played. They didn’t return home with a trophy, but they did have a great time and an even better experience.

We would also like to thank everyone for their prayers and good luck wishes which helped us more than any amount of money could. We had a great time on and off of the court and we really appreciate everything.”
