Tiger tennis team wins district title

The Hardin County Tiger tennis team defeated Munford by a score of 4-2 last week to claim the district championship. The Tigers also defeated Brighton in their final regular season match. They are now 11-1 on the season. Hardin County will play their first match of the region tournament on Friday.

The Lady Tigers picked up a win in their final regular season match against Brighton. They lost in their first district tournament match to Brighton to finish their season.

The Hardin County tennis teams also have two individuals who are still competing in the district tournament. Sam Doran and Mallory Mathis each played in the district individual championship matches on Tuesday afternoon. Both players will advance to next week’s region tournament to be held at Bartlett next Tuesday.
