New Pickwick pest control company hiring
Oct. 9– Terminix, a leading provider of termite and pest control services, broke ground Thursday on a new service center in Counce.
The new 2,800-square-foot facility will be at 20260 Tenn. 57 and provide services to customers in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. The business is scheduled to begin operations in January.
“Opening a new facility in Counce is a great opportunity for Terminix,” said Tom Brackett, company president and chief operating officers.
“The service center’s centralized location will allow us to take Terminix services into more homes and businesses in this area than ever before,” he said.
According to Brackett, company officials considered several locations, “but the available workforce and support of local leaders made it clear that Counce was the perfect place for us.”
The new service center is to include a staff of about 14 employees. Positions for service professionals and office staff are available. Job applicants may submit resumes to Terminix region manager Lance Fortin by email at
