Police investigate crimes at A&D Storage
Jan. 11– Savannah police are investigating multiple vandalism, theft and break-in incidents at a Pickwick Street storage space business.
A&D Storage reported Tuesday that locks on 15 storage units had been cut and that efforts were being made to notify all the renters.
Phillip Nelson, 190 Dove Drive, told police his boat kept at the business sustained $1,000 damage. A door on the craft was torn off and a radio damaged.
A camper belonging to Ronnie Deshazier, 395 Eagle Drive, was broken into and a flat-screen television, Playstation 2 game console with four games, a video cassette recorder and a DVD player taken. Total loss was $720.
Three windows were damaged in a recreational vehicle belonging to Bobby Mabry, 12 Oaks Drive, Adamsville, and a quilt valued at $30 stolen.
A&D Storage said locks on the following storage units were cut: 73, 75, 76, 78, 79, 89, 90, 51, 52, 54, 65, 66, 67, 68 and 72.
