Remembrance service set for Thursday, Dec. 8

Dec. 2– Each year, Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah holds a Service of Remembrance at its facility.

The 2011 service recollects friends and loved ones who have departed from Nov. 16, 2010 through Nov. 15, 2011.

Set for Thursday, Dec. 8, the 7 p.m. program features words of comfort, hope and inspiration, special music and a presentation to each family.

An advertisement in this week’s Courier incorrectly lists the day of the event as Tuesday.
