Man arrested on sex charges

March 9– A local man is being held at the Hardin County Jail this morning, arrested by the Sheriff’s Department on two counts of aggravated sexual battery involving minors.

When questioned by authorities about alleged sexual advances toward two children, Danny Ray Lively, 30, 2298 Cerro Gordo Road, confessed Monday that he fondled the boys, ages 11 and 13, the previous day at a location in Hardin County, according to an affidavit signed by Chief Deputy Mike Fielder.

Hardin County General Sessions Court Judge Danny Smith set the suspect’s bond at $50,000.
