Weather prompts early school closings

Feb. 9– With a winter weather advisory in effect today from noon to midnight, the National Weather Service is forecasting snow accumulations of 1-3 inches.
Light snow accumulations combined with temperatures several degrees below freezing for the duration of the event will likely lead to snow-covered roads and hazardous driving conditions.
Hardin County public schools will close today at noon.
In McNairy County, public schools are closing at 11:15 a.m.
