Jury finds fatal shooting self-defense

Feb. 1– Following a two-day trial, a Hardin County jury this afternoon found Shannon Baugus not guilty in the shooting death of her husband George Edward Baugus last March.
"I'm free," a crying Shannon said moments after the verdict. "I can live my own life. I won't be hit any more."
