Hardin County schools to open Thursday, McNairy still closed

Jan. 12– After a three-day break due to snow and hazardous road conditions, Hardin County schools will be open tomorrow.
McNairy County school officials announced this afternoon that classes are again canceled for Thursday, Jan. 13, because some secondary roads remain treacherous.
In Hardin County, Director of Schools John Thomas said this morning that buses will run their routes at the discretion of individual drivers.
Parents who are unable to get their child to school should contact the school in order to be excused.
The school system's robo-call system is also phoning parents with this information.
