Woman killed in crash near Selmer
Nov. 29– A 20-year-old woman died Saturday in a one-vehicle crash in McNairy County.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Hollie M. Hall, of Middleton, Tenn., was driving west on Hines Gin Road near the intersection of Eldie Foster Road, four miles west of Selmer.
While negotiating a curve in a 55 mph zone, the 1997 Ford Explorer she was operating went off the left side of the roadway and overturned. The driver was ejected from the sport utility vehicle and killed in the 4:43 p.m. incident.
Hall was not wearing a safety belt, Trooper Greg Hopper said.
