Sept. 28– No one was reported injured when a loaded Hardin County school bus clipped the front end of a van Monday afternoon near the middle school.
According to Savannah police, Angela N. Blount, 34, had stopped her 2005 Dodge Caravan on Sharon Drive at the intersection of Lacefield Drive at 3 p.m., waiting for traffic to clear.
The bus, driven by Linda W. Jerrolds, 64, came around Blount on the left side in the opposing lane and turned right onto Lacefield.
The passenger side rear of the bus in the vicinity of the back wheel struck the driver side front fender and bumper of the van.
