Teen dies of crash injuries
Aug. 30– An 18-year-old Savannah man died at The Med on Friday of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on Aug. 15.
Kenneth G. Glover, was fatally injured when the 1996 Chevrolet he was driving north on Tenn. 226 struck a 2009 Nissan head-on at 2:50 p.m., according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Glover was negotiating a curve and veered into the opposing lane of traffic. The driver of the southbound Nissan, Lynn V. Worley, 59, of Savannah, steered to the right in an unsuccessful effort to avoid impact and rolled over after the collision.
Worley and a passenger in her vehicle, Stacy L. Durham, 39, of Savannah, were injured.
Also injured was a passenger from Savannah in Glover’s vehicle, Richard J. Laput III, 18.
