Yes, there will be fireworks

June 29– This year’s local Fourth of July fireworks display is sponsored by ISR Group, one of Hardin County’s fastest-growing companies.

The event Sunday takes place at Pickwick Landing State Park, beginning at 9 p.m.

The pyrotechnics are launched from Sandy Beach at the park and are visible from just about anywhere on or near the park.

Savannah radio station WXWX 93.5 will broadcast live beginning around 5:30 p.m. and the fireworks show will be set to music.

Savannah-based ISR Group’sprimary business is to provide life cycle support services to government agencies and serve as a prime contractors for aerial, ground, and maritime unmanned systems.

The event is hosted by the Hardin County Convention & Visitors Bureau, which announced it today.
