FEMA disaster recovery center to open at Hardin County Fairgrounds
May 21– Hardin County residents impacted by the recent storms and flooding have a brief opportunity to apply in person for Federal Emergency Management Agency assistance at the Hardin County Fairgrounds.
According to a FEMA representative working in Savannah today, a FEMA disaster recovery center will be open Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The DRC is expected to be open Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and depending on demand, during the same hours Tuesday.
Applications can also be done by calling 800-621-3362, or online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov.
Approximately 90 residents of Hardin County have reportedly signed up for benefits so far.
