Crump collision kills one
May 6 - At 3:32 p.m. yesterday afternoon, a report by the Hardin County Fire Department says district 2, rescue 1 and engine 12 responded to a head on collision on U.S. 64 between Crump and Adamsville.
Crump E-1 arrived on scene at 3:37 p.m. and reported two vehicles on fire.
The collision was between two wreckers, one was towing a vehicle. One driver was not hurt and the driver of the wrecker that burned died on the scene.
According to a report by the Crump Police Department, yesterday’s crash occurred when one wrecker, eastbound on U.S. 64, crossed the highway’s center line and struck the other, traveling west.
No names have been released as of yet.
