Woman's body found dead on Counce lawn
April 30 - Yesterday at 10:30 a.m., Hardin County Sheriff Sammy Davidson says the department and TBI responded to a call received concerning a woman’s body found dead on the lawn of 1895 Red Sulphur Road, Counce.
On arrival, Davidson says officers determined the body to be that of Counce resident Ragan Nichols, 28, he said.
According to Davidson, the call came from a landscaper hired at the Counce home. The residence’s owners live in Memphis.
Nichols was reported missing since late Sunday morning, following a verbal dispute between she and her boyfriend which ended when Nichols left the residence.
Nichols' body was sent to Memphis this morning for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, Davidson said.
