Moody escapes Hardin County jail
April 21 - At approximately 1:30 p.m. today, a notice from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department says Matthew T. Moody escaped from the Hardin County Correctional Facility’s exercise yard.
Arrested during a methamphetamine bust last Thursday, Moody, 21, of 930 Tenn. 114, Scotts Hill was arrested on charges of initiation to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
Classified as a medium security inmate, department representatives say Moody may be injured.
At 5 feet 11 inches tall and 170 pounds officials say Moody has black hair, blue eyes with a pit bull tattoo on his left arm and a flaming skull on his right arm.
The inmate was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, orange pants and no shoes.
