Meth house raid nets four
March 16– Four suspects were arrested on drug charges following a raid on a house near Sardis, Hardin County Sheriff Sammy Davidson said today.
Michael K. Webster, 38, the occupant of the residence at 1360 Hurricane Drive, was charged with initiation of methamphetamine manufacture, two counts of possession with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $100,000, he said.
Three others at the residence were also taken into custody as a result of the March 11 execution of a warrant obtained by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The search involved Hardin County deputies and state troopers, according to the sheriff.
James R. Vaughn, 51, 275 Shoreline Drive, Sardis, is facing charges of initiation of meth manufacture, possession with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $75,000.
Matthew T. Moody, 21, 930 Tenn. 114, Scotts Hill, was charged with promotion of meth manufacture and initiation of meth manufacture. Bond was set at $50,000.
Jeffery W. Hutton, 49, 1685 Hutton Road, Sardis, is facing prosecution on charges of initiation of meth manufacture, possession with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $50,000.
