Illegal alien arrested; woman claims attempt to 'run her over'
March 1– A 20-year-old illegal alien was arrested Friday after a woman claimed he tried to hit her vehicle, according to Savannah police.
Dabi O. Garcia, 285 Stout St., B-1, is charged with reckless endangerment and driving without a license.
Police reported Hardin County resident Deborah Stricklin, 53, said she was driving on east Main Street when a "Mexican named David" tried to "run her over."
Stricklin said she was able to elude him on Fairgrounds Street.
She called police from a Church of Christ and as an officer interviewed her there at about 3 p.m., a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle drove by, leading to Garcia’s arrest.
