Crump man indicted on child porn charge
Jan. 14– A federal grand jury indicted a Crump man on a charge of possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Lawrence J. Laurenzi announced today.
David Elliot Little, 43, is facing a maximum prison term of not more than 10 years, a fine of $250,000 or both, the Department of Justice said.
Little is among six individuals from Tennessee reported charged with violations of federal law including the distribution, receipt, and possession of child porn, computer solicitation of a minor and failure to update registration as a sex offender.
Laurenzi said the indictments stemmed from investigations conducted by member agencies of the FBI Memphis Crimes Against Children Task Force and the U.S. Marshal’s Service.
The other individuals indicted are:
•Stephen Lynn Hammonds, 43, of Jackson; John Hamilton, 47, of Memphis; Scotty Lynn Ables, 22, of Newbern; James Henry DeGroat, 63, of Jackson; and Donald V. Wright, 35, of Memphis.
The cases are brought as part of Project Child Safe, a nationwide initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse.
