Savannah police, TBI rounding up drug suspects

Nov. 23– In a joint operation, the Savannah Police Department’s drug unit and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are rounding up local drug suspects this morning.

According to city narcotics Investigator Tim Kelley, the arrests are coming in the wake of controlled buys made by confidential informants over the past year.

As of 9:15 a.m., 13 of the 25 individuals being sought have been arrested.

Taken into custody thus far are:

 

•Darlene F. Hottiman, 49, 770 Pinhook Road– sale of Schedule III narcotics (hydrocodone) and sale of Schedule IV narcotics (Valium).

•Jasmine C. Lindsay, 20, Ryan Street Apartments, H-5– sale of Schedule III narcotics (hydrocodone) and two counts sale of Schedule IV narcotics (Xanax).

•Gregory O. Cherry, 38, in custody of Tennessee Department of Corrections– sale of Schedule II narcotics (cocaine) and sale of Schedule IV narcotics (Xanax).

•Terry W. Harris 46, 125 Graham St.– sale of Schedule II narcotics (crack cocaine).

•Cathy E.L. Lindsay, 60, 50 Long St.– two counts sale of Schedule III narcotics (hydrocodone).

•Bobbie J. Thompson, 73, 85 Edna St– two counts sale of Schedule III narcotics (hydrocodone).

•Carlton G. Risner, 27, 6650 Tenn. 69-S– sale of Schedule III narcotics (hydrocodone).

•Derick Nathan, 38, Savannah– sale of Schedule II narcotics (crack cocaine).

•Sondra L. Giffin, 25, Belmont Street– sale of Schedule II narcotics (crack cocaine).

•Tina M. Parrott, 41, 1550 Old Morris Chapel Road– sale of Schedule III narcotics (hydrocodone).

•Roy A. Jamison Jr., 41, 331 Sixth St., Selmer– sale of Schedule II narcotics (crack cocaine).

•William Shane Murphy, 33, 6650 Tenn. 69– sale of a counterfeit substance (fake Oxycontin).

•Boris "Possum" Fry, 53, Bluff Circle– sale of Schedule II narcotics (crack cocaine.)
