Fire fatality in Savannah

Oct. 31-- An elderly woman was reported killed in a fire today at her 70 Patterson Road residence in Savannah.
The fire is believed to have started in a bedroom and the victim was found in the kitchen near a door, sources said.
What caused the fatal blaze is under investigation.
The name of the victim has yet to be released.
