Angela Hopper Pilkinton, of Adamsville, departed this life on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at the age of 47 years, 4 months and 13 days.
She was born in Hardin County on Oct. 15, 1970, the daughter of the late Janice Hopper Moore.
Angela had a heart of gold and would rather give than receive. She never met a stranger and the people that met her always remembered her kind heart. Angela loved having her nails painted and would get so excited over false fingernails.
She is survived by her daughter, Christa Black and husband Keith of Adamsville; her grandchildren who meant the world to her, Laken Grace Black and Vada Faith Black; sister, Michelle Thompson and husband Scott of Jackson, Tennessee; brother, Danny Hopper and wife Emily of Savannah; former husband, David Pilkinton of Savannah; special friend, Carter Horton of Savannah; great aunt who was more like a sister and mother, Midge Alexander of Savannah; and her Chihuahua, Lilly.
Services were held on Sunday, March 4, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Chad Balentine and Steve Nielsen officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
