Shelia Ann Phillips, of Glen Allan, Virginia, formerly of Milledgeville, was born in Madison County, Tennessee on May 17, 1961, the daughter of Bobbie Ruth Hughes Phillips and the late Jimmy Carrol Phillips.
Shelia worked for the VA Housing Development Authority as an e-PMO director and she was a member of Milledgeville United Methodist Church. She was an avid football fan and loved the Tennessee Volunteers. Shelia enjoyed traveling and always loved being around the beach.
She departed this life on Wednesday, Nov. 15, in Glen Allen, Virginia, at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 29 days.
In addition to her mother, Bobbie Ruth Phillips of Milledgeville, she is survived by one brother, Anthony Phillips of Milledgeville; and one sister, Tammy Phillips Brown and her husband Todd of Jackson, Tennessee; three nieces, Angela Lefter, Kayla Clay and Kelly Brown; and one nephew, Chad Phillips.
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Phil Bridges officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery.
