Emma McCoy, 82, of Memphis, formerly of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
She was the daughter of the late Jay and Mazie D. Franks Shull. She was united in marriage to Carl McCoy, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. McCoy attended North Memphis Church of the Nazerene and worked as a teacher at the Nazerene Day Care for 15 years.
She is survived by her son, Terry Russom of Memphis; and her sisters, Ruby Baugus and Margaret White, both of Savannah.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert James Shull; and her sisters, Juanita Dowdy, Christine White and Betty Fluty.
Services were held on Thursday, Nov. 9, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Geneva Middleton officiating. Burial followed in Jowers Cemetery at Savannah.
