Marjorie Barfelz Jackson, 87, of Savannah, died on Friday, Oct. 6, in Savannah.
She was born in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of the late Charles Cecil and Beatrice Arlene Lewis Cuvelier. She was united in marriage to Edward Carroll Barfelz, who preceded her in death. She was later united in marriage to Louis Jackson, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker. She attended Apostolic Assembly of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, First Apostolic of Bridgman, Michigan, Grace Sanctuary, New Life Pentecostal, and currently Northside Baptist Church, all in Savannah.
She is survived by her children, Tina Music of Savannah, Patricia Rokely of DeWitt, Michigan, Charles Barfelz of Bennington, Vermont and Dawn Hnanicek of Berrien Springs, Michigan; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles Cuvelier of Union City, Tennessee and Robert Cuvelier of Harrison, Michigan.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Dietiker; and one brother, Lewis Cuvelier.
Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 8, at Northside Baptist Church in Savannah with Jason Martindale officiating. Burial followed in the Music Family Cemetery at Savannah on Monday, Oct. 9.
