Max L. Neill, 88, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, in Jackson, Tennessee.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Grover Cleveland and Bessie May Robinson Neill.
Mr. Neill worked for the Hardin County Highway Department.
He is survived by one sister, Mable Andrews of Savannah; one brother, Mancell Neill of Savannah; three nieces; and four nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Neill and Wallace Neill; and three sisters, Jewell Franks, Irene Livengood and Sue Davis.
Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Benny Taylor officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
