Martha Ann Ethridge Turnbow, 77, of Sardis, died on Saturday, Oct. 29.
She was born in Henderson County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Ruel and Opal Ethridge. She was united in marriage to Clyde Turnbow, who preceded her in death.
She had a 33 year career at Garan, Inc in Adamsville. She assisted in managing the Turnbow family farm. She was a song leader and pianist for many churches and assisted the startup of churches of many denominations.
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Ann Barnett of Byhalia, Mississippi and Brenda Austin of Russellville, Arkansas; her son, Jeffrey Turnbow of Conway, Arkansas; four grandchildren; one brother, Gerald Ethridge; and one sister, Darlene Ethridge.
A celebration of her life was held on Thursday, Nov. 3, at Pafford Funeral Home, Scotts Hill, Tennessee. A graveside sunset service followed at Sardis Cemetery, Sardis, Tennessee.
